Hand-N-Hand hosted this ritzy event at HOTEL NORTHLAND on November 16, 2019 and it included music by The Talk of The Town, Casino Events, auctions, and more!

  • In Wisconsin, roughly 120 babies are identified with permanent hearing loss per year. 

  • In the U.S., 2 to 3 of every 1,000 children are born with a hearing loss, making this the most common sensory birth defect.

  • Intervention services are recommended for children diagnosed with hearing loss, beginning as early as possible.

  • More than 90 percent of deaf children are born to hearing parents.

Hotel Northland’s bell staff is available to assist you with valet service. The cost of valet service is $15. The Pine Street Parking Ramp is also available and attached to Hotel Northland for convenient access.  Ramp address is 333 Pine Street Green Bay, WI 54301.  Free parking Saturdays & Sundays.


Making A Difference Award:
Nominations are invited for the Hand-N-Hand Making A Difference award.  This award will be presented at the 2019 Silent Night & All That Jazz gala. This award recognizes exceptional individuals whose achievements, leadership and support effect change, inspire us, and enrich the lives of deaf and hard of hearing in our community.
As a means of thanking our community for their support of deaf and hard of hearing children and families, Hand-N-Hand has been recognizing community members with this award since 2010. 

Two primary criteria are used to select the Making A Difference award recipient. The individual must be affiliated with Hand-N-Hand of Northeastern Wisconsin, Inc. and made exceptional overall contributions to Hand-N-Hand or to individuals in the deaf and hard of hearing community in Northeastern Wisconsin.

To nominate an individual, fill out the Making A Difference Nomination Form by October 18, 2019. Send completed nomination form and attachments to Jenny Geiken at jlgeiken@hnhnew.org or mail to:
