“With our fourth annual fundraising event under our belt we continue to be amazed by the people in our community and their willingness to strengthen our local organizations,” said Jenny Geiken, program director for Hand-N-Hand. “This fundraiser truly has an impact on the lives of those who are deaf or hard of hearing. We are grateful to our board of directors, committee members, sponsors and members of the community for supporting the effort and making a difference in the community in which we live and work. Thank you to everyone who joined us to support the cause.”
In addition to music, casino events, dinner, live and silent auctions, Hand-N-Hand presented its annual “Making a Difference Award” to Joy Snyder of Capital Credit Union. The award recognizes a person or group for their dedication and ongoing support to children with hearing loss. “Northeastern Wisconsin and Hand-N-Hand are extremely thankful for Joy’s unparalleled volunteerism and dedication, as well as the support of Capital Credit Union,” Geiken said.
